This contribution has been submitted to Khoodeelaar today by a supporter of the campaign against Crossrail hole
We have recognised their preference to not have their name published
"Bethnal Green and Bow Constituency members have the opportunity tonight to lend their support to the Khoodeelaar! Campaign against the Crossrail hole attacks plan on the East End of London.
The meeting is at 7 PM at St Paul's Church in St Stephens Road in Bow.
Campaigners against the Crossrail attacks on the East End will be joined by others opposing the stock Transfer of Tower Hamlets Council housing away from public control.
The Khoodeelaar! Movement is helping to revive the sprit of community action in London in a way that the Blairing looters of public resource had thought would not happen.
Oliur Rahman, a speaker at the Khoodeelaar! demonstration against Tower Hamlets Council on Wednesday 1 March 2006 descried as crooks the individuals who had been controlling the Tower Hamlets Council. Come the 4 May election, Oliur Rahman promised, the looters will be thrown out of the Tower Hamlets Town Hall.
To make that a reality, all opponents of corruption and abuse of public resource must unit and focus on the looters as the target. Defend the community by uniting on the principles of social solidarity.

I heard George Galloway speak at the Bow West meeting against the Crossrail hole.
I also heard the campaign Khoodeelaar! and its organiser Muhammad Haque.
I can see where George Galloway is coming from when he says that he does not believe in the slogans that the current parliamentary procedure will protect the rights of the people affected by the Crossrail. threat in the East End.
My quibble with him is - where is George going to get all these people?
Who are the people he appears confident will turn up to man women the barricades against the bulldozers?
I only ask because I don’t think there are all that many 'RESPECT party members who are even bothering to attend meetings.
Like last night.
George Galloway was there. As was the woman who chaired the meeting.
But hardly a massive turn out by the prospective RESPCE Party councillor-candidates for the 4 May 2006 election.
So if the candidates are not turning up at such important meetings how are we to believe George’s promise that come the Crossrail digging programme, there will be hundreds of volunteers ready to lie down on the ground and dare the cROSSRAIL BULDOSERS TO RUN THEM OVER OR FACE THEM?
I do have to say that the more I hear Muhammad haque, the Khoodeelaar! Campaigner, the more I learn about the deeply fraudulent and corruption centre that the Tower Hamlets Council has become.
It was a treat to see Muhammad Haque demolish 'professor' Michael 'what is his name?' Keith over the demography, anthropology and linguistic characteriotisc and affiliations if the East End today.
I wish we had more occasions to hear Muhammad.
I know that Carole Swords the chairwoman was place din a difficult situation when Michael Keith and his uninvited batch show tried to heckle the meeting to an abrupt end. They failed... And Carole handled the heckler Michael Keith and his fellow anti-social disrupters deftly.
I have read in one of the two local papers in the East End this morning that when the Lib Dem opposition on the Council tried to get the No to Crossrail hole motion debated, the Michael Keith se laughed at them.
I wonder if Michael Keith and his Crossrail colleagues will be laughing on 5 May 2006
