Day of action for anarchist prisoners Ruben & Ignasi - 24th FEB.

As you already know, on the 9th of February, three anarchist comrades have been arrested in Barcelona, accused of various acts of sabotage. Today, they are still kept in preventive arrest, moreover without any substantial evidence. It is thus important at this stage to give a heavy and unitary response. We cannot allow that the state kidnaps our people without impunity. The libertarian movement, fragmented and, in a certain sense, rather disorientated and without direction (we ought to recognize this), has serious problems to carry out concrete campaigns of visibilization and struggle...
We believe it is important to clean up differences and begin to work in common situations and fields: prison solidarity must be one of these fields, of fundamental importance and priority.
We believe that in order to carry out this anti-repression task it is necessary to socialize the situation of our comrades, of the entire prison system and social control system, through actions visible to the eyes of everyone.
For this reason we propose a day of struggle against the state on Friday 24th February (extending throughout all the weekend), where to concentrate the acts of protest, visibilization, and attack for the freedom of Ruben and Ignasi and in solidarity with all prisoners. Where it is possible to organize informative meetings and talks, demonstrations and pickets in public squares or embassies, flyer posting or hanging banners, blocking this or that street to the circulation of capital and state control… we can all contribute according to our context and capacity.
It is now the time to self-organize and coordinate in each city and neighborhood.

FAX PROTEST EVERY THURSDAY:
For this we need your solidarity, in a first instance, by sending a massive number of faxes and telegrams to the court house and judge dealing with their case (Juzgado de Instruccion n.13 of Barcelona) which is at the following address: Passeig Lluis Companys n. 1-5, 08003 Barcelona.
