Since the afternoon of February 14th, 9 members of the Movimento Passe Livre (MPL) of Aracaju are occupying the headquarters of the city Transport Authority (Superintendência de Transportes e Trânsito - SMTT).
They are protesting against the refusal of the agency to discuss bus fares with the population. Bosco Mendonça, the responsible for the agency, refused to call a public meeting saying the population already has enough knowledge about transport issues.
