UPCOMING ACTIONS

FRI 10th GREYHOUND DEMO

We will be having a vigil outside the Glastonbury's Abbey Moor
stadium on Friday 10th February meeting at 6.30pm. The event will
have a Valentines theme and we will have lots of boards with hearts
and photos of greyhounds that are looking for homes locally.

The track manager's have changed their race day from Mondays to
Fridays in an attempt to get more general public to attend. At the
moment the numbers of people attending their race nights are very
low. They are not making a profit and we have had some great media
coverage over the past few months. We continue our campaign until
greyhound racing is stopped!

REGULAR EVENTS

1. STALLS

Street stalls are vital in raising funds and awareness. WARN
activists regularly do stalls across the West. If you are free any
day please contact us or your local group and we can take animal
rights issues to the highstreet.

2. Lack of justice for hunted animals

Hello

As you may realise, the Hunting Act became law almost
a year ago on February 18th 2005. Despite this, the
killing continues, and the general public fails to act
accordingly.

On February 19th 2005(the day after the 'ban'), hunt sabs
from Bristol, Bath, Pewsey Vale and other areas, attended
a hunt meet of the Avon Vale Foxhounds. A fox was killed
that day, and the hunt have been hunting as normal every
single week. This hunt is no exeptoin and just one of many
hunts which continue to kill animals.

Saboteurs from around the West of England & South
Wales have continued to monitor and disrupt these scum
and have saves many hunted animals since the 'ban'.

We may well be a 'nation of animal lovers' but most sab
groups are lucky to get eight sabs out on a Saturday..
It would be nice, as a show of support, if we had some exra
help on the anniversary of the 'ban', February 18th 2006.
And it would be even nicer to get extra regular help.

3.OXFORD DEMOS

Demos in Oxford both randomly and on a Thursday, activists are
wanting to go but there is a lack of transport to get there. If you
can drive please contact us!!!! Email:  info@warnetwork.org

**************************************

4.SEQUANI DEMOS

Activists from all corners are being called to demonstrate outside
Sequani vivisection labs in Ledbury every week 'in numbers',
so as to show the West Mercia police force who have recently taken it
upon themselves 'to act on behalf of Sequani Limited', that whatever
'harassment' laws that they may try and pull on us to put an end to the
legitimate demonstrations outside this animal death camp will be
overuled by a majority of compassionate members of the public who wish
to demonstrate their disgust at animal testing!

That means We NEED YOU to be there.

We need to outnumber the police. They cannot arrest
everyone! Even if you do get arrested .. think of the animals in their
cold steel cages, dying or waiting to die, that are relying on me and
you to fight like hell for them! Be prepared.

This will be a crucial demonstration of strength and committment
highlighting our 'right to protest' outside this animal hell hole..
If it doesn't happen, and people just don't bother to attend the demo,
then this could be the end of the weekly protests outside our local
vivisection hell hole Sequani Limited in Ledbury and potentially could
spell the end of the campaign against Sequani Limited.

For the animals, please be there.

5.SHAC DEMOS

The second and last Friday of every month there will be demos at key
financial targets in London, which is vital as Huntingdon Life
Sciences are repaying bonds at the end of this year costing millions,
and so pressure needs to be applied. Please contact WARN if you are
interested in going and can offer transport or would be available to
come using a cheap transport e.g. megabus

you are a waste of space

I find the people who hunt foxes to be pompus and arrogant they really piss me off. I find the hunt sabbs people to be ill informed bunny-huggers they also piss me off. So here I am sitting on the fence. Despite my dislike of killing for sport I feel that you anti's are thinking with your heart not your head , you have no idea of animals requirements/needs and no idea that nature itself is crueler than man. From my (lofty) middle of the road position I would have to side with the huntsmen, you AR guys come across both dangerous and pathetic.

Hey Peter

If the human race thought with it's heart and not it's head wouldn't this be a beautiful world to be in for humans and non-humans?

Think about it

Good on anybody who gets up and tries to stop the relentless killing and destruction that is commonplace on this planet.
