Lloyds TSB Call Surrey Police to One Man Peaceful Protest Weybridge

Deemed ‘accountable by association’, Mr Shalom invited Surrey Police, to regard his general interest and moral legitimacy in protesting at Lloyds TSB. In explaining the direct association between Crest Nicholson Plc, Crest Nicholson Marinas Limited, Quay Marinas Limited and Lloyds TSB Bank, Surrey Police upheld Mr Shaloms’ ultimate right to free speech, free assembly and public protest outside the Lloyds TSB Bank in Weybridge Surrey.

Crest Nicholson Marinas Limited evicted Mr Shalom, along with his wife and their five daughters from their own Houseboat Home and property from Penarth Marina Wales, in 2003. The Family maintain their claim that this was nothing more than a Crest Nicholson Corporate Beauty Show. The Family have not been compensated for their loss of Home or ‘way of life’ of 14 years.

All the Family’s personal possessions were seized, in the heavy-handed, full-scale, eviction process and 7 Family pets were seized too (goldfish!). Between some of the parties involved, including, Crest Nicholson Plc, Crest Nicholson Marinas Limited (Quay Marinas the company formed as a result of the management ‘buy-out’, away from Crest Nicholson Plc), The High Court Sheriff, and the Shaloms’ local MP, Mr Alun Michael, nobody is prepared to tell the Shaloms, where all their personal belongings have been taken.

It seems presently that nobody will answer their questions, despite making much earlier representations to Prime Minister Mr Tony Blair, at no 10 Downing Street, London.

Lloyds TSB Group Plc have only recently announced that they no longer have any ‘notifiable interest’ in Crest Nicholson, but the Family can not forget that Lloyds Bank backed the Crest Nicholson Marina Management buy-out plan. Quay Marinas Limited, the ‘new face’ to what is essentially an old company, had the full support of Lloyds TSB Bank.

The Family Campaign for Social Justice has long-invited Lloyds TSB to look at this matter. The Family hope that recent events will simply concentrate minds to find a mutually acceptable, ‘Fair and Just’ solution, to this Family’s dire situation.
