BBC Complaints

22.05.2005 11:58

I have already written a complaint to the BBC, and suggest others do the same. What sort of use of taxpayers money is this? The main thrust of my complaint revolved around the BBC's environmental policy (  http://www.bbc.co.uk/info/environment/ ) and role as a public service broadcaster.

O come on have a sense of humour.

Clarkson represents the views of the majority of the UK population and if we expect to change those views getting all upset when he does something that we have just done will only make us look stupid.

I watched it

I watched Top Gear last night and the stunt was quite funny. It's the first time I have seen Top Gear as I'm not interested in cars but I was surprised how much I liked it.

I know we're all supposed to be critical of programmes like this but there is something about it !

Clarkson represents the views of the British people?

Whatever drug you're on, can I have some? I can collect if necessary. Pay on the day.

Seriously though, you must be one pessimistic activist if you think that JC represents the views of most people: -

1) Even less people voted for him in the general election than for Veritas.

2) Everyone I talk to, activist or no, is deeply concerned about climate change and knows that cars are helping to cause it.

He isn't even very funny really. I mean firing that turkey out of that cannon was raised a smile maybe, but that bus stunt was truly wankful.
