Sure Britain is responsible for supporting regimes like this when economic interest is at stake, then again lets not 4get the U. S(uck). A(ss) when it backed Saddam in the 80's and gave him all these weapons to slaughter his and other people. Wasnt that peachy of him, or the backing of oppressive organisations such as Saudi Arabia (let me take this point to direct you to the amnesty international website just incase you dont know about the saudi regime) or what about Israel???? Using palestinians as target practice everyday. then again if that isnt good enough for you maybe we can take you further back to chile, when Pinochet took over by coup and excecuted thousands of civilians? O wait, the contras in Nicaragua remind me of something.....trained by the US to murder civilians and overthrow the Govt, but lets not only blame that redneck country, French troops murdered 200 protesters in the still under occupation Ivory Coast, U.S planes flew from my country (Greece, Crete in particular) to bomb Iraq, the Germans were amongst the biggest players in the Yugoslavia war of 99.
