Balck out on news from Iraq

23.11.2004 00:23

I don't know if anyone else has noticed but there doesn't seem to be any news coming out of Iraq at the moment
since the americans declared that the resistance fighters had been defeated nothing much has been said at all.
No reports about roadside bombs and RPG attacks on US convoys. Just a single story about the Iraqi governments plans to go ahead with the phoney election pantomime.
I wonder what is really going on perhaps the whole gone off .

Big Ears

it is really horrible

if you really want to know what is happening take a look at this website which is made up of photos which the media do not publish,as well as every us soldier who has been killed.
It is updated every day.It takes a while to download.
Looking at it makes one realise the utter futility of war.
It is mainly pics of Falluja over the last few weeks.
 http://fallujapictures.blogspot.com/

It is true that we are getting little news in the mainstream media.
I find it hard to understand why more people are not out on the streets protesting, also STW have not been very active outside of London.Guess everyone is doing other things or tired out with campaigning.
JOIN your LOcal peace vigil or start one up dont wait for someone else to organise it.
