Dear friends,
Recent news of the war has been depressing at best. While there is some agreement now that the invasion and occupation of Iraq is not “going well,” corporate media continues to hide the brutality of the U.S. assault on a largely defenseless third world nation. The link below was posted by a dear friend of mine who, as a retired special forces officer, is well familiar with our nation’s “war making.” Please view this short video clip and judge for yourself if we are really attacking “bad guys” in Iraq. Peace, jamie

PS The “official” number of U.S. GI’s killed in Iraq is now 1048. And that number is increasing faster than at any time since the occupation began. Of course the number of Iraqis killed in their homeland is many, many times greater.

The American soldier says :"I see numerous individuals, permission to take them out."
The guy in charge says immediately, "permission granted".
Indeed one can not see on the footage whether they were having guns.
The guy looking through the optical device can't see it either, and he doesnt say armed individuals. And the guy giving the orders doesn't know either.
And even if they were armed, there is no sign of any fighting going on, the aeroplane (I think it is a jet) isn't being fired upon. And there is no sign of other american soldiers under attack.
The US army wiped out a lot of people with a single "smart" laser guided bomb without reason.
A warcrime!
