Halliburton's KBR Wins Australian Gas Plant Contract, Lane Says
Sept. 24 (Bloomberg) -- Halliburton Co.'s KBR subsidiary won a construction contract for a liquefied natural gas processing plant in Australia, said Andrew Lane, president of the unit, on a conference call.
Lane didn't identify the contract further.
I can't find reference to the story in Australian press yet, and am suprised that no mention of this announcement has yet been posted in Australian media. Is it being witheld to be timed with the election campaign? And where in Australia is it? Perhaps someone at KBR's Infrastructure Division Global Headquarters at Greenhill Road Adelaide South Australia has some information?
I've been informed by SBS (a national Australian network) that their Halliburton-based Dateline story will probably be broadcast this Wednesday, including footage shot in Adelaide. A transcript would appear at www.sbs.com.au

You might also like to ask him questions about KBR's overcharging on contracts in Iraq and why Halliburton is seeking to sell KBR...
