In looking at America's political system where in reality only one group rules, i.e. the extremely wealthy who own the Democrat and Republican Parties, and then looking at Europe, in particular, the UK with their Democratic Socialist Party, and Spain with their Socialist Party, WOULD YOU SAY THAT SOCIALISM HAS HELPED THE UK AND EUROPE?

The question regarding whether Democratic Socialism has helped the UK is what I am asking. It is obvious that Tony Blair is wealthy, which is no surprise.
Do you think that the UK would benefit from another dominant political party or do you think the UK would be better off with a referendum type government where there is no major political party and everyone votes on key issues, e.g. going to war with Iraq.
America has a closed door government, and if you try to get involved, you get the Shanghai Surprise, i.e. arrested and possibly even beaten.
I truly wish my ancestors would have stayed in Europe. The one American Indian was likely just a survivor of a burned and looted village.
