An arab view of UK anti-war movement

Do you people realise what al-Jazeera is? It is created and run by the US-backed Islamist dictator of either Qatar or the United Arab Emirates, I can't remember which. He runs the whole thing, its not 'independent' of anyone. It spouts pro-Islamist propaganda. And remember, this guy is backed and supported by the US, and he supported and helped the US invasion. Kind of indicates that in fact Islamists are tools of the US, no?

The US has, for the last several decades, created Islamist fanatic movements and jihads with the goal of destroying and pressuring America's enemies, and taking over the Balkans and the former Soviet republics. The US worked with and supported Islamist fanatics in Afghanistan (created it to attack Soviets, with Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, who then later created the Taliban with American help, which took over Afghanistan and attacked former Soviet republics, directed by the Pakistanis, supported by the Saudis, and assisted by the US), Bosnia (Pentagon worked with Iran, Saudi Arabia, and other fanatical states to arm the Bosnia Islamist faction (against moderate Muslims and Serbs) and import Islamist terrorists), Kosovo (US created the Islamist Albanian fascist terrorist group the KLA to ethnically cleanse Serbs, Roma and Jews, and then bombed Serbia, invaded Kosovo, and installed the terrorist murderers in power, ethnically cleansing 100,000s of people), Macedonia (US directed KLA terrorists against Macedonian government, cut off all aid for Macedonia from other countries, and then told them it would help them defeat the terrorists and get peace), inner Serbia (US trained and directed Albanian Islamist terrorists against the Serb people), Chechnya (US's key ally in the region, Georgia, openly supported and harboured the Chechen Islamist terrorists fighting Russia). The list goes on. Now the US claims it wants to fight the terrorists it created, and is taking over the former Soviet republics, installing bases, etc.

I don't think anyone on the left would argue that Al-Jazeera was the most unbiased media there is...it is blatantly anti-US. Just look at the cartoons on the website!

But in a world dominated by Western Media, it is always good to get an insight into the other side of the story. It shows us the true conditions that people live in in the Mid-East, and also gives us an insight into many groups/people etc we wouldn't ever know without Al-Jazeera.
