SEVEN OAKS PUBLISHES 8TH ISSUE
VANCOUVER, B.C., Canada -- Seven Oaks, a new political and cultural magazine, published its eighth issue today. The weekly magazine is available for free online at http://www.sevenoaksmag.com/.
The new issue features articles on the privacy risks of Google GMail, anti-Semitism and Adbusters, the politics of blogs, Fallujah and the U.S. occupation of Iraq, and the first of a three-part series on May Day.
SevenOaksMag.com hit the World Wide Web on February 21, 2004. Svend Robinson, MP, was among the many community members who attended the magazine's packed launch party in East Vancouver.
The magazine is run by a four-person editorial board comprised of journalists, activists, and academics. A new issue, consisting of original features, commentary, interviews, artwork, and cultural pieces, is published every Monday.
Work appearing on SevenOaksMag.com has been authored by writers in Canada, the U.S., and Europe. Many articles written for Seven Oaks have been reprinted by respected news sources and political sites. The magazine continues to seek new contributors, sponsors, and readers.
