Further Destruction in the Tulkarem Area
Occupation forces today started bulldozing tens of dunums of Irtah's land. Confiscation orders provided to the villagers specified that the lands were to be used for military purposes, but without exact details. Villagers believe the land will be used for a new road that Occupation forces are planning to open from Irtah and Faro'n east to Tulkarem. It is felt that the new road will replace a current road linking Far'on with Attaybe village inside the green line, which will be too close to the so called Trans-Israel Highway. In addition this road will link to and industrial zone Occupation forces are now working on building east the Wall. This complex is being built entirely on lands confiscated from Far'on and Irtah, some 400 dunums. [More at  http://www.stopthewall.org]

Preparations for the Wall in Salfit, Demonstrations in Deir Ballut, and Land Confiscation in Zawia
Occupation forces today headed to the villages of Zawiya, Rafat, and Deir Ballut west of Salfit in order to mark for the Wall's path around these villages. Last Thursday Occupation forces delivered confiscation orders for 316.9 dunums of village lands, including maps showing the path of the intended Wall. The soldiers had informed the villagers that they will meet with them publicly on Sunday to place the markers for the Wall's path; however, Israeli engineers came in the night and marked the path without the people's knowledge. Bulldozer Burnt in Mediya
The people of Mediya continued their demonstrations where Occupation forces are now clearing the land in two different areas for the Wall's path. Soldiers fired tear gas and rubber bullets at the demonstrators, who answered back by throwing stones. The Occupation forces temporarily retreated and then returned with reinforcements, while the villagers moved to the western side of the village, where they managed to burn one bulldozer. The Wall Implicates Endless Suffering To The Palestinians
by: Abdul-Latif M. Khaled and Lana Omar

"When somebody watches a tragic film for the first time, he feels surprised and sad, and when he watches the same film for the second time, he becomes less surprised and so on. However, the wall tragedy is a live one, its actions renewed daily, its pains and tears are real ones. In more than one and a half years watching the impacts of the wall, every time I visit a new location, or even the same location, I notice new horrible actions took place, as if I see or hear the story of the wall for the first time. On one side, the wall deteriorates the economy, environment, health, and education, and on the other side, the social state and physiology of the people. When you see the human catastrophe, and listen to peoples stories, you feel the oppression against the innocent people, the agony of their spirit, that you could not utter, you stutter, and the mind agitates."
