And the Partytown streams are great and informative-

This week's show features stories from Radio Netherlands, the Voice of Russia, China Radio International, Spanish National Radio, and Radio Havana Cuba.
From Netherlands- Queen Elizabeth II announced that same sex couples will soon be able to register for domestic partnership benefits. An Amsterdam city councilor filed a complaint for being refused service at a soft-drug shop. The US is cutting some loan guarantees for Israel as punishment for continuing construction of the wall in Palestinian territory.
From Russia- Yassar Arafat criticized Ariel Sharon and called again for bringing international observers to the conflict zone. The interim governing council in Iraq has outlawed a second Arabic TV network. Then a commentary on the new US military budget, which includes money for developing new nuclear weapons and the StarWars project. Then a review of the FBI’s investigation of the antiwar movement in the US.
From China- N Korea says several S Korean ships fired on their patrol boats. The US has accused China of selling color TVs for less than fair value, implying upcoming tariiffs- China feels it is being scapegoated for failures in the US economy.
From Spain- India and Pakistan have begun a ceasefire in Kashmir. Greek authorities have called for a pretrial release of jailed anti-globalization activists. A Japanese executive held for ransom in Colombia was found dead.
From Cuba- The apparent demobolization of rightwing paramilitaries in Colombia has been called a choreographed show. Then a Viewpoint on the FTAA meeting in Miami last week, including the expansion of NAFTA
All that plus times and frequencies for listening at home. I hope you'll listen and air this if you're connected with a radio station. I am still wondering how to get financially compensated for the 25 hours I put into this program weekly- any ideas are appreciated. Any stations rebroadcasting this (or listeners) are welcome to donate for production costs. You can do so through the website. Many thanks to those that have donated! No Guilt!
