When he talked about the criticism he had been getting from Democrats where his party is taking their votes, he emphasized that they had been rolling out the red carpet, with a majority vote behind the illegal war in Iraq and with both parties being responsible for the huge deficits. When candidates were asked about the scandal facing the absent candidate, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Camejo replied, if it had been a black man, or poor white he would be handcuffed and slapped in prison. None of the candidates minimized the nature of the allegations, but McClintock did question the molestation charges being exposed so close to the election. Camejo is a bright spirited man unafraid to expose the truth.
