The hearing was held today between 12 and 6pm. Simon, a British protester, and 8 other demonstrators will be remanded in custody for the next three months until their cases are dealt in Court.
He and the 8 others arrested were charged on three separate counts, all of which carry sentences ranging from 7 to 25 years in prison, which have to be served consecutively.
Simon was beaten in prison and denied access to medical care despite suffering serious head injuries and broken ribs, and only at the insistance of the British consular, a doctor was permitted to attend Simon.
The charges include:
(1) Possession of Explosives (which in the case of Simon were planted on him by the Police, there exists footage of the police doing this).
(2) Resisiting Authority.
(3) Rioting.
A public film show by the Thessaloniki Prisoners Support Campaign will take place on Tuesday,1st of June in London, with the video material showing Simons arrest and returing activists will report about the situation.

All the internationals were taken to the same prison. For the address of the prison and to offer support, the call at the moment is to contact the Thessaloniki legal team to arrange visits and to send letters.
A call for solidarity protests outside Greek Embassies in solidarity with the prisoners, and in protest at yet more injustice was sent out.
