Tuesday, 24 June 2003 – The widest campaign of arrests since the
beginning of the Intifada was waged by occupation military forces in the past
48 hours. Over 250 residents were arrested, 150 in Hebron alone
including 70 from al-Qawasmi family. Among the arrested are whole families,
women, university students and children under the age of 10.
5 detainees were exiled today to Jordan and Jericho.

the border strip between Egypt and the Gaza Strip. The residents fear
that these new measures could lead to the establishment of a new military
base in the area.
