While ordinary drinkers are arrested if they drink in public on the streets of Nottingham, the neo-nazi football hooligans of the EDL were allowed to get drunk on the streets outside Wetherspoons, and seemingly the staff of Lloyds Bar knowingly served alcohol to drunken customers.

However, on a thread that antifascists were promoting their view, it recently disabled comments. Chief Inspector Kim Molloy of Notts police was arrested by her colleagues after a suspected shoplifting incident at a Tescos Extra. A "rising star" of the force, she is alleged to have been trying to get an unofficial 'discount' on her make-up.

This is what Notts IWW members look like on a good day
On Wednesday morning, 28th October 2009, members of the Nottingham & Notts General Membership Branch of the Industrial Workers of the World (Notts IWW) took to the streets with a leaflet written to ask Job Centre users/benefits claimants and workers at Station Street Job Centre Plus not to cooperate with the Royal Mail's attempt to recruit 30,000 temporary posties to try and break the ongoing postal workers strike. Although Royal Mail often starts to recruit for Christmas around this time of year, the target of 30,000 is many more than the usual.
