The ACTION COMMITTEE TO GET THE PEOPLE THEIR MONEY BACK 2007
Which was set up at the start of July [2007] to take action to get the money back to the people who have been robbed via ‘First Solution’ is now holding the first demonstration outside the London Muslim Centre this weekend.

Some 29 Sri Lankan Tamil nationals have reportedly gone on hunger strike at the Harmondsworth detention centre in London in protest at a Home Office decision to deport them back to Sri Lanka tomorrow. Harmondsworth has been the sight of
continued resistance, with repeated hunger strikes, riots and demonstrations.

From 19th to 24th September 07 we will gather at Gatwick Airport for the first No Border Camp in the UK. This camp will be a chance to work together to try and stop the building of a new detention centre, and to gather ideas for how to build up the fight against the system of migration controls.
On Saturday July 21st we organise a day of workshops and a benefit gig in Chat's Palace, Hackney.

A really constructive weekend of meetings was held on 30th June and 1st July to plan the No Border camp near Gatwick in September. Around 30 activists from around Britain came to London to discuss and share ideas and skills to figure out how we are actually going to do this!
