On Martin Luther King Jr. Day 2008, Animal activists caught with Actelion Pharmaceuticals at the Grand America Hotel and let them know that on this day people will continue to stand for freedom...Leaflets went flying in the room showing photos from inside HLS and half a dozen cans of silly string were emptied in this room. It was everywhere - all over the employees, in their food, in their drinks, everywhere.

1) "During the midnight hours of 6th January 2008, A.L.F volunteers gained entry to a rabbit breeder who provides animals to suffer and die in the miserable vivisection industry. Customers of this breeder include HLS and several UK Universities."

Circus attacked by FLA-CVN in Mexico, 8 butcher shops painted in Belgium, whilst in Italy 7 fur shops received different forms of sabotage in one night ranging from glued locks, throwing paint and painting slogans, as well as birds feed.

Yet again a mink farm and lab breeder are raided, McDonalds Novartis, Kleider Bauer and Escada (to name a few) are attacked whilst other fur shops close down. Also a bad year for hunting in Germany and better lives for 2 chickens and a rabbit.

It has been reported that on the 6th January 2008, 129 rabbits were liberated from a lab breeder in Lincolnshire. This breeder supply HLS, as well as several UK universities. The photo's show the cramped, unclean conditions of this hell hole - would we expect anything else?

On October 29, 2007, Dylan Barr entered a guilty plea to one felony count of Second Degree Extortion in Seattle, WA for disrupting the operations of Washington Mutual Bank with a Denial of Service attack because of its investment in Huntington Life Sciences. After a two-year period of legal limbo and non-snitching plea deal negotiations, he was sentenced to 232 hours –29 days— of community service and ordered to pay Washington Mutual Bank $25,000 in restitution.
