Having messed-up almost every aspect of their pitiful protest in Walthamstow on Sept 1st, the EDL are threatening to show convicted drug-dealer, fraudster and career-criminal Nakoula Basseley Nakoula's controversial film Innocence of Muslims when the EDL return to Walthamstow, East London, 27 Oct 2012.

Despite the numbers of Muslims who've participated in the (sometimes violent, sometimes peaceful) protests against this film being a miniscule proportion of the world-wide Muslim population, the EDL are making this threat in the hope of attracting media attention, and in the hope of discrediting anti-fascist counter-protestors by association with the Muslim extremists who the EDL hope will also oppose them. Islamo-Fascist groups have used protests against this film as a pretext for launching attacks overseas, and, just like their Islamo-Fascist counterparts, the EDL also seek to whip-up religious hate, with no regard for the safety of people who get caught-up in the violence they seek to worsten. The EDL have been warned that for instance British Embassy staff may die as a direct result of the EDL pouring petrol on this proverbial fire, but the EDL don't give a damn, as long as Tommy Robinson gets on TV. It's hard to know how this might play-out in Walthamstow on Oct 27, but there's a real danger the EDL might turn this to their tactical advantage, so here are some suggestions that may help limit their chances in advance....

1. Use every communications medium to promote photos of EDL demonstrating with the NF and of the EDL giving Nazi salutes and displaying Nazi tattoos etc, to keep proving to the public and world media that the EDL are as Fascist as their Islamist counterparts - a picture speaks 1,000 words! Use the Walthamstow demo to remind people about EDL founder Paul Ray's self-confessed influence on child-murdering serial-killer Anders Breivik.

2. Porn-ogling careerist Anjem Choudary led a protest of just 150 Islamo-Fascist morons outside the US Embassy in London on Sept 14 - use the internet to remind people how Anjem Choudary says Muslims are "strictly forbidden" from supporting or standing alongside the left-wing groups who co-ordinate protests against the EDL (whatever Indymedia users may think of the SWP and UAF, Anjem Choudary's open admission that he hates the left is a real PR asset for anti-fascism)

3. Stress that while alleged Innocence of Muslims author Nakoula Basseley Nakoula pretends to be some sort of Christian, his actual career includes convictions for bank fraud, tax evasion, identity theft and methamphetamine manufacture - Nakoula Basseley Nakoula doesn't represent Christianity, America or the West, any more than Tommy Robinson's 200 Sieg-Heiling thugs represent football supporters or Anjem Choudary's 150 drones represent British Muslims.
