Censorship and Northern indymedia

Is this the idea of some southerners who think they know better than those of us living upwards of London?
Or is it just some saddo removing posts and comments when it doesn't suit them?
Whatever it is I'd like to understand how comments from locals on local issues can be removed without comment.

I was a part of northern

I was a part of northern but left due to differences. There was a general opinion amongst northern members that 'comments sections' and 'discussion' would not be allowed as this added to the need for moderation. I for one argued that discussion was needed and suggested that the functionality be implemented. Alas my ideas were blocked and ignored at every turn. So, I decided to leave northern.
However, I don't know what the comment is you are referring to so its hard to pass judgement. Northern are very strict on some matters, such as being against the promotion of violence (which I agree with).
