"At the moment I'm very likely to vote for the increase, simply because we cannot reward the bad behaviour from today," he added.
Is anyone sick of being condesended? I suppose good behaviour is characterised by taking part in the election and then letting the politicians just get on with it and not complaining when things go against you.
"The problem you've got is this: If you reward this form of behaviour, if it has any effect which is a positive effect, you're encouraging the behaviour in the future."
The question is Mr. Hemmings, when you are rewarded for your good behaviour (breaking your election promises in order to maintain an ilegitimate coalition government), doesnt that encourage this behaviour in the future?
Personally, I think those naughty protestors should be spanked and put to bed without supper.
