Rubbish Police attempt to frame climate camp "weapons stash"

Whoever carried this out really doesn't deserve a bonus. Police used to be much better at framing people than this. The Keystone Cops strike again.

The "stash"

It included rubber gloves (I have some in my house), a D-lock (I use one to lock my bike with), the now famous board games, a lifejacket, a wetsuit and other things which were undoubtedly not for maiming horses, dogs or even police officers.
There were also some large knives. I have two large knives in my house and I take them with me when camping. Very useful for cutting things. Presumably the vegan meals are being prepared with the use of knives.
They didn't have the guy ropes on display. Perhaps even they are embarrassed by the theft of those.
That leaves the "death star". Not a particularly useful weapon to use against horses, dogs or police officers, as it is generally a one shot device.
Quite possibly the "death star" was planted by the police or some other organ of the Labour Party. There is no independent oversight of the whole process. If it was really found by the police near the camp then that proves nothing. It could well have been left by a local, either to smear the camp or as part of some gang battle.
The police are trying to smear the campers, just as they have done elsewhere.
