'Grand' opening of new A612 Tues 8th 2.30pm

The county council are pleased to announce the opening of yet another piece of 'concrete over the countryside', namely the new A612. The opening ceremony will take place at the Victoria Road Junction (nr Morrisons) on Tues 8th May at 2.30pm.

This monstrous new bit of public money wasting has yet again bypassed the problems of conjestion and seen the County Council try and build their way out of traffic pollution and conjestion. This small projct has cost the tax payer just a meagre £11.6 million for 1.2 miles of road....and the happy to oblige contractors no other than McAlpine plc.

How many bus passes could £11.6 million buy for city residents?
