On 3rd April 2007 RAPAR’s party was just such an event: Over 70 Afghan. Bangladeshi Congolese, Libyan, Pakistani, Somali, Sudanese, Iranian and other nationalities of refugees seeking asylum came together to share ideas, food, pain, happiness and fun. The children played with toys and sang songs in between eating food. Speakers shared their ideas about why we are here and confirmed their intentions to develop their areas of work through RAPAR in the coming period. Speakers included, Innocent, Rhetta, Abo, Mansoor, Maryam, Nilofer, Zohreh, Juma, Ziadah and Mike.
Excellent food and songs were arranged by Aqila, Maryam, and their children and Frank , including banner making, lasted for four hours,
