Support your local Post Office - Rally
The rally in Creaton will take place on Monday 19th February at 9am, Creaton Post Office, Creaton, Northamptonshire. Philip Hollobone MP will be addressing the crowd.
The rally is part of National Post Office week, which has been organised by the umbrella group "Future for our Post Office", of which the Countryside Alliance is a part, and starts on Monday 19th February. This local event is one of a series taking place across the UK, including a mass rally and lobby of Parliament to be held on Tuesday 20th February 1-3.30pm at Methodist Central Hall in Westminster. Alliance Chief Executive Simon Hart will address this rally, as will the Prime Minister's Rural Advocate, Dr Stuart Burgess. The week of action aims to highlight the current Government consultation on the future of the Post Office network and encourage people to take part to fight for their own local service.
So a show of support for our threatened network has never been more vital. If you require more information on the rally please contact sarah-lee@countryside-alliance.org
