Amnesty International Seeks Local Poets

All submissions to the competition should begin ‘When violence against women and girls ends…’ and require entrants to imagine what a world without violence against women would look like. Entry is free and the competition closing date is Monday 21st November. Entries should be sent by post to West Midlands Amnesty International, c/o 23 Quigley Avenue, Bordesley Village, Birmingham B9 4HB or emailed to media@wmai.org.uk . The prize of £50 will be awarded to best piece of poetry as decided by a panel of judges comprising of human rights activists and professional writers.
