The Smash EDO/Bombs out of Brighton Campaign is an ongoing strategy which aims to create local awareness of the company’s activities and to put pressure on the directors and workers to find less lethal ways of making a living.
Taking on huge arms companies like BAE systems and Rolls Royce is a mammoth task made difficult by the enormous resources that they have access to, and local campaigns against more vulnerable links in the chain of supply may well be a more effective way of putting pressure on the arms trade.
The campaign intends to continue targeting the company for as long as they remain active in the arms trade, and hopes to see local campaigns against arms companies and suppliers springing up throughout the country.
