Update on Blackwood and the Sherriff-Egg saga.

Another will follow after Fridays court appearance.
Boris will appear in court again (this) FRIDAY 29TH MAY at CAERPHILLY MAGISTRATES WALES at 11am for a Pre-Trial hearing.
At a plea hearing on 27th April Boris pleaded not-guilty to a charge under section 5 of the public order act. The prosecution offered a bindover but only if Boris addmitted throwing stones at the Sherriff (a blatant lie from the police statement). As Boris has refused to accept this slur against his good name it is likely that he will have to return to Wales at least twice more (for a pre-trial hearing and then a trial) before a final verdict is given
The charges relate to an incident during which Boris is alledged to have thrown an egg at the Sheriff during eviction of the Blackwood road protest tree camps in March
BLACKWOOD UPDATE (SLIGHTLY OLD)
(27th April – More up-to-date news welcome)
Work on the Bypass continues. Trees where camp Jordan used to be have a temporary reprieve because of nesting brids (although by costains definition this may end soon)
Cardiff Anarchist Network have direct action days every Tuesday. Still potential for “digger diving” and pixie actions which can cost the company a lot of money.
