Despite the march being quite melow, the cops still thoght it would be a good idea to use their new toys: two water canons (borrowed from the RUC in the north). They made little difference by themselves on a sunny and warm spring day and many people had quite a lot of fun from the jets. The threat of battons and the sight of riot police on the other side was not as funny so the everyone started retreating 'with honour'.
