cyclist injured by police in unprovoked attack

At about 7.30 last night (Thursday 11th September) at the demo outside the Lancaster Hotel (Lancaster Gate tube)blond rob from Reclaim the Streets was attacked by a police officer as he rode round the hotel. Completely unprovoked, an officer lashed out at him with his baton as he cylcled passed. This has left him with severe nerve damage which required him to attend hospital last night, again this morning, and again for an operation tomorrow.

He was wearing a black t-shirt and trousers, and has short, spiky blond hair. If anyone saw this happen can you please contact the Legal Defence Monitoring Team at
