Israel set to gain access to Iraqi oil

Forgive me if this is old hat (the article is dated 16th April). This article is from Jane's Defence - hardly a conduit for radical thought, so I consider the revelations contained here fairly explosive - and highly revealing for those who may yet harbour doubts that this war is all about oil and Middle East hegemony.

Of particular interest is the revelation that Bush has made lifting sanctions upon Iraq conditional on the country supplying Israel with oil. As Bush already intends to lift sanctions, you don't need to be a rocket scientist to see what has already been achieved.
