How to Deal with the SWP

Remember, most SWP have never taken part in any real revolutions. Few of them have ever been to (say) Havana or Ramallah and if they do, tellingly, they often leave.
Truth is, the average SWPee -er has gained most of his/her experience from hanging around the entrance to the Students union, glaring with mild contempt on the beer swilling Labourites inside (understandable I suppose) and thinking her/himself SO superior. This translates into abject contempt for ALL sections of the independent socialist movement in Britain, but ONLY in Britain. Next time you encounter one, pretend to be from overseas, and watch the respect your'e given. Ive tried it a couple of times, using stagey accents, and they start to take you seriously.
