Maybe it's because the SWP/ANaL hate British people generally, even those who agree with them. If you're a foreigner they automatically love you. Love and hate are very close emotions, a group of self-hating irrational lunatics like SWP love anyone who isn't British perhaps even Hitler himself if he dressed-up as an exchange student!!

Another way to deal with these wankers is to just let them get on with hastening their own demise.

The SWP/ANaL are in terminal decline almost everywhere, with their membership at all time low.

Most of the people they seek to recruit (students) are sick of their left wing ranting and would rather get drunk in the bar or check out the talent on campus. In fact, most students views today are considerably to the right of most politicians on close examination, regardless of whether they join trendy groups like the Lib Dems.

On many campuses, the BNP has overtaken the SWP as the main political grouping, such as at Leeds Uni. The SWP have had the carpet pulled from under their feet and can't even muster more than a handful of students to oppose the new political order emerging.

More evidence of this is the fact they need 10 times more cash than the BNP to "fight the Nazis".

Perhaps the final nail in the coffin for the SWP isn't far away.

Get lost Jack. You and the SWP are so close in so many ways you're as bad as each other. Two sets of authoritarians each arguing over who is best suited to ruling us. Go away and take the SWP with you while you're at it.

You're right, most of the SWP have never taken part in any "real revolutions". How many of us here in Britain have ? I personally haven't been to either Havana or Ramallah, although I have been to Bethlehem and seen with my own eyes how things are there.

Any "contempt" shown by members of the SWP towards other sections of the independant socialist movement might have something to do with the fact that so many of them spend as much time (maybe like you) slagging off the SWP as they do fighting for socialism. Looking like a scene from The Life Of Brian (Judean People's Front) does nothing to advance the fight against this system. Does Socialist Worker devote time to slagging off "the independant socialist movement" ? NO !

The SWP far from being in "terminal decline", has in fact grown faster than ever in the last 6 months, our membership is most definitely not at an all time low !

What pisses me off is that I felt the need to write this. How about this for a radical approach... Let's put some differences aside, UNITY IS STRENGTH ? And let's do what we can to get rid of this rotten system. I'm proud to be a member of the SWP and I am proud to have worked and fought alongside other socialists, anarchists, communists, environmentalists etc. over the last 10 years. Ever heard of a United Front ???

This sort of thread is pointless. The only why we
will get rid of the SWP (and its like) is when
real revolutionaries get our acts together and
create a viable alternative to authoritarian
socialism.

Maybe having a few posts on positive ideas would be

And replace it with an even more rotten one with the
SWP in charge of it? No thanks! Some of us do know what
happened last time we tried that (under Lenin). We

So, just because we are against capitalism does not mean
we want the same thing. Leninists want party power.
Anarchists want free socialism. To confuse the two would
be a terrible mistake and so any "united front" would have
to be based on libertarian principles, something the
SWP would *never* agree with.

The best critisism on the SWP is how they deal with critism!
A serious reflection about any critisism on their organisation is non existant- no changes possible! And as "real" communication with them is not possible, they should not wonder that everybody hates them and does not want to have anything to do with them.
The reason why they might like foreigners is probably that they assume that their wanky reputation hasn't spread yet to other countries.... how wrong they are! With the International Days of actions they managed to blamage themselves globally!

I m a member of the I.S. in greece and i KNOW that my comrades were involved in the revolution of 1973( as well as the rest of class struggles since then).
So either shut it or find some real political arguments against the SWP.
