Indymedia-Israel and Indymedia-Barcelona has published reports about CNN using images of 1991 to "inform" about celebrations for the attacks on USA.

You have probably seen on TV images of a few Palestinian people (mainly children) celebrating the attacks, dancing on the streets, and smiling to the cameras... Well, these images are from 1991!, recorded during Irak's invasion of Kuwait.

It is completely unacceptable CNN's misinformation and manipulation of reality about such a serious issue. Their use of these images it is, at very least, totally irresponsible let alone pernicious. Whilst many corporate media's special envoys were reporting an eerie calm in the Palestinian territories after the attcks, CNN and other corporate media kept blasting to the world these same images in an obvious attempt to discredit and criminalize the Palestinian people.
