CNN used images of 1991 in their reporting on USA attacks.

Indymedia-Israel and Indymedia-Barcelona has published reports about CNN using images of 1991 to "inform" about celebrations for the attacks on USA.
You have probably seen on TV images of a few Palestinian people (mainly children) celebrating the attacks, dancing on the streets, and smiling to the cameras... Well, these images are from 1991!, recorded during Irak's invasion of Kuwait.
It is completely unacceptable CNN's misinformation and manipulation of reality about such a serious issue. Their use of these images it is, at very least, totally irresponsible let alone pernicious. Whilst many corporate media's special envoys were reporting an eerie calm in the Palestinian territories after the attcks, CNN and other corporate media kept blasting to the world these same images in an obvious attempt to discredit and criminalize the Palestinian people.

"There is absolutely no truth to the information that is now distributed on the Internet that CNN used 10-year-old video when showing the celebrating of some Palestinians in East Jerusalem after the terror attacks in the U.S. The video was shot that day by a Reuters camera crew. CNN is a client of Reuters and like other clients, received the video and broadcast it. Reuters officials have publicly made the facts clear as well."

Last September 13, I’ve sent an email to this list in which I provided some information about the falsity of the images of Palestinian celebration for the terrorism in USA, information given to me by a teacher. I spent the last day looking for that teacher, and, unfortunately, when I found her, she DENIED having access to such images.
She said that she was sure she had seen the images back in 1991, but SHE CAN’T PROVE. She was not willing to provide further information, DENYING what she had said before to a full class of students.
I sincerely apologize for this uncertain information; unfortunately I can’t prove the information contained in my last post; IT’S ONLY A CONJECTURE, THAT THOSE IMAGES OF PALESTINIANS CELEBRATING IS FALSE.
