Rep. Governor Jindal due to spread #FoxNewsFacts lies in speech in London

Such statements take us back to Enoch Powell politics and are naive and ill-judged prejudice at best, and deliberately reactionary, divisive and inflammatory at worst.
Republicans have issued these claims in American media for years, but never been able to give concrete examples, until Steven Emerson from a relatively unknown spurious organisation called the 'Investigative Project on Terrorism' said on FoxNews that across Europe "Muslim immigrants have set up enclaves where the host nations 'don't exercise any sovereignty'" including the UK city of Birmingham "where non-Muslims simply don't go in."
While many took to twitter with #FoxNewsFacts and launched satirical petitions, ridiculing such statements, with the 2016 Presidential election approaching, and immigration already pushed by biased mainstream media in the UK to be a main election issue for this year. Such rhetoric could be on the rise and has been shown to lead directly to attacks on people from ethnic minorities and innocent people, made into victims for finding a sense of solidarity and community in places of worship. No more innocent people should die at the hands of these careless or conniving politicians, building their own careers on top of the graves of others.
We are stronger when we work together to counter-attack extremist, marginalising and controling lies, only peddled to win favour from reactionary voters and vested interests in society. Demonstrating opposition outside of the house of commons would be difficult at short notice, and unlikely to get noticed or change the outcome of the meeting, but helpfully the Henry Jackson Society has left contact details, so more people could at least highlight this hypocracy and slander by sharing the email address, and encouraging people to send an email to them. Who knows whether they'll think twice about fanning the flames of bigotry and division in the future.
You can email the Henry Jackson Society at researchassistant4@henryjacksonsociety.org, for either inquiring about attending or to say what you think about the meeting.
