We have spent the last few months looking at ways to relaunch the site and re-engage with the local Bristol community but without success so we have taken the difficult decision to close permanently Bristol Indymedia. We are looking at ways to preserve the archive of posts but with very few volunteers it will not be something that is happening soon.

Bristol Indymedia was a radical resource that helped change the way Bristol people thought about the media and their place within it but fewer and fewer volunteers prepared to do the work of running the site led to this choice being made.
