"A City trader who was shot in the leg had rented his home out to a top lawyer exposed for faking large parts of his CV, the Evening Standard can reveal. Robin Clark, dubbed the Wolf of Shenfield, was shot by a masked gunman as he travelled to work on Friday. Police are investigating whether the “targeted attack” could be related to suspected financial problems after it emerged a county court judgment was filed against him for debts of £14,653, and a number of companies of which he was a director were shut down while owing money."
