Use of thorny bridle to control horses: HC notice to Raj, Centre

Advocate informed that when wounds get out of control the horses are sent to slaughter houses to end their life. Using thorny whip is against section 3 and 11 of animal cruelty act 1960. In a similar order HC in 2010 had already banned the use of iron sticks to control the elephants. Instead of iron stick court had ordered the use of wooden sticks. Abhishek Kadyan, Media Adviser to OIPA - Indian People for Animals moved this PIL and Miss Sukanya Kadyan, Programme Director managed online petition, which was endorsed by more than 4500 people all around Universe, Ms. Virginie Devigne Vimala and Naresh Kadyan, founder Chairman, People for Animals (PFA) Haryana, rep. of United Nation affiliated OIPA in India advised Abhishek Kadyan time to time because Iron ankush was banned on the PIL moved by Naresh Kadyan during Cartier elephant polo in Jaipur during 2006.
