The US and south Korea are planning to hold war rehearshal exerccises in south Korea, The situation is already tense . Here is a statement denoucing the holding of the exercises.
The Association for the Study of Songun Politics UK, Juche Idea Study Group of England and UK Korean Friendship today issued the following joint statement denouncing the decision of the US imperialist aggressive warmongers and south
Korean fascist puppets to stage the "Foal Eagle " and "Key Resolve " war exercises.
We utterly condemn and oppose the plan of the US imperialists to hold simultaneous war exercises "Foal Eagle" and "Key Resolve " against the DPRK in March and April. The US imperialists scheme to hold the exercise Foal Eagle from March 1 to April 30 and the exercise Key Resolve from March 11 to 21, to make the sky, land and seas of south Korea into theatres of war exercises against the DPRK.
The US imperialist warmongers also are thinking of additionally holding more than dozens of joint mobile drills during the Foal Eagle exercise.
It was reported that the U.S. imperialist aggressor troops including at least 10 000 troops and huge armed forces of the south Korean puppet army and even armed forces of satellite states of US imperialism under the helmet of UN Forces will take part in the exercises.
There is no way given the scale and nature of the exercises that there are purely defensive . Moreover they are directly connected to the UNSC sanctions resolution and the DPRK nuclear test. The exercises are clearly
aimed at "backing up" the sanctions with force and intimidating the DPRK.
"Key Resolve " and "Foal Eagle" are basically a rehearsal to invade the DPRK and take it over realising so-called "regime " change. In essence the war exercises are aimed stifling the people-centred socialist system of the DPRK by force and extending US colonial rule in south Korea to the north.
The exercises are the biggest single threat to world peace. The situation in the Korean peninsula is already very strained due to the US imperialists extreme anti DPRK policies and the provocations of the Lee Myung Bak regime in south Korea. The exercises bring the possibility of an actual physical war breaking out a step closer. The holding of "Foal Eagle " and "Key Resolve " are being held against the wishes of the independence loving and progressive peoples of the world.
We demand that the exercises are cancelled NOW ! , also that all anti DPRK resolutions are revoked by the UNSC. It is time for all friends of the DPRK and Songun idea and Juche Idea followers to turn out decisively in support of the
DPRK.
