UK KFA SPECIAL ARTICLE DEFEND THE DPRK AGAINST UNFAIR UNSC SANCTIONS ,DEFEND THE

UK KFA | 06.02.2013 22:34 | Terror War

Exposes hypocrisy and double standards of the UN Security Council and supports the DPRK's indepenent right to conduct a nuclear test

The sheer hypocrisy of the US and its stool-pigeon body the UN Security Council has been shown up recently by south Korea's launch of its Naro rocket(of course
this is actually a Russian made rocket) . Did the UN Security Council vote to condemn this ? where were the cries from the imperialists and their media that this was a provocation , a threat to peace. Was the south Korean ambassador called to the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and told off ? Was south Korea told that they should be spending the money on alleviating poverty instead of launching satellites ?. None of these things happened.
The permanent members of the UNSC that voted for resolution 2087 against the DPRK all have long standing space programmes. Russia as the USSR first launched an artificial satellite in 1957 56 years ago and the US has a long history of rocket-launches. It is a false argument to say that the DPRK's satellite launch was a ballistic missile because any space rocket could also be used as a long range missile. In fact the US NORAD space command confirmed that the DPRK's launch was a civilian satellite. Hypocrisy and double standards are always corrosive but more so in the field of international relations
It is also arrant hypocrisy for the UNSC to lecture and censure the DPRK as the 5 permanent UNSC members account for 60% of the world's military expenditure . They are also the biggest arms producers and exporters of the world with the US topping the list(see below)
Source: SIPRI

world spending amounted to $1.74 trillion USD in 2011.
Rank Country Spending ($ b.) World Share (%) % of GDP, 2011
1 United States 711.0 41.0 4.7
2 Chinaa 143.0 8.2 2.0
3 Russiaa 71.9 4.1 3.9
4 United Kingdom 62.7 3.6 2.6
5 France 62.5 3.6 2.3
6 Japan 59.3 3.4 1.0
7 India 48.9 2.8 2.5
8 Saudi Arabiab 48.5 2.8 8.7
9 Germanya 46.7 2.7 1.3
10 Brazil 35.4 2.0 1.5

The DPRK is not amongst the top 100 arms exporters . However the permanent members of the UN Security Council are.

So why the clamour of the US and its marionettes on the UN Security Council. It is about denying the DPRK the right to space exploration and trying to hamper its development of science and technology. Ultimately the aim is to deny
independence and sovereignty to the DPRK and to destroy it people-centred socialist system based on Juche(the idea of independence and self-reliance). The DPRK is in the gun-sights of US imperialism because it is the most independent country in the world and the only true socialist country.
It is the independent and legitimate of the DPRK to defend itself against any infringement of its independence and dignity by any means necessary. No-one should try to interfere in this. As for the US complaining about a potential DPRK nuclear test anyone would think the US has never tested nuclear weapons or indeed used them, anyone would think that Americans sweetly ate apple pie all day , said "Hi Honey I'm home" and watched endless episodes of "Little House on the Prairie " or the "Waltons". The reality is that the US has a stockpile of 31,000 nuclear weapons with 1,000 nuclear weapons in Korea. The US has carried out 1,000 nuclear tests so why are they complaining about 1 DPRK nuclear test ?
Now it is more important than ever to rally around the DPRK and defend its right to independence. The DPRK is the only country standing up to US imperialism and New World Order globalist bullying.
