What happened to winter? One day you're jogging in snowless Chicago in a t-shirt. Or enjoying 70 degrees, 21 degrees C at the end of January in D.C. Twenty four hours later it's big winter jackets and watch out for frost-bite. We'll talk with journalist and scientist Andrew Freedman to see what new science is saying about freaky 2013.

I ask Andrew about the horribly wet year in the UK, but so far science has no clear answers. Might take a year or two (by which time we'll be back in drought...)

Kathy McMahon is the "Peak Oil Shrink", a clinical psychologist who specializes in energy, climate, and the recovery that looks more like a Depression every day.
