Here in Britain civil servants from the PCS union will walk out in protest and solidarity for 15 minutes. Sheffield trades council will host a demonstration of solidarity outside Sheffield town hall at 4.30-5.30pm on the day. With many workers and students expected to attend.
After the 200,000 strong TUC demonstration in London on October the 20th, where many workers called on union leaders to call a general strike as the next stage of action. With Union leaders like Mark Serwotka and Len Mcluskey repeating this call from the platform.
Its important to remember that the 14th of November can be a stepping stone towards such action and can contribute to putting pressure on union leaders to act.
Whilst building international solidarity and confidence among a layer of workers. Its important to link working class struggle across Europe which will help build bigger and stronger resistance to austerity here in the UK. A victory for the Spanish workers and for the Greek Workers is a victory for workers in Britain too
