Sun breaks Section D notice with 'hint' of Israeli hit on Al-Hilli

The Sun has been the first newspaper to break the Defence Advisory Notice posted yesterday to block reporting about his links to the MOD and Mi5 and Mi6 as well as the Iranian nuclear programme.

The D notice was issued to my organisation as well as all other major groups such as the BBC. Sky and all major newspapers at 0750 yesterday it covered,
No mention of his links to the Security Services
No mention of his links to Iran
No mention of his links to nuclear weapons research
No speculation regarding Israel involvement in the killing
The Sun has circumvented the D notice by hinting at the link even though they like all of us in the media know full well what Al-Hilli was doing and why he was scared of Israel. Private Eye is also preparing a story that may well encourage others to break the D note.
