In my capacity as the Police and Crime Commissioner candidate for Sussex, I have received information from an member of the public who alleges you (The Evening Argus) have been complicit in a police cover-up, of the arrest and subsequent treatment of Mr. Alexander Coughtrey.

As part of my campaign I am standing on an Anti-Corruption platform and will be using this story as an example of the corruption in Sussex Police.

In the interests of impartiality and fairness, have you any comments to make?
