Take Back the Land – less than a month to go!
Coal Action Scotland | 18.06.2012 10:11 | Climate Chaos | Ecology | Social Struggles
There’s some bad news: the World Health Organisation last week announced that diesel fumes cause cancer, strengthening calls for a halt to mining operations because of impacts on community health ( http://coalactionscotland.org.uk/?p=3040). This is obviously bad news for communities living next to mines, but further evidence that opencast coal kills communities.
And some more information: the Take Back the Land! website has been updated with travel directions ( http://takebacktheland.org.uk/?page_id=6) and information on what to bring to the camp ( http://takebacktheland.org.uk/?page_id=8).
See you on the 12th July – its time to Take Back the Land!
