Israeli company to run Olympics Wi-Fi

Olympic chiefs were initially surprised to be offered the entire package for free as Elbit will gain no marketing benefit for their work however activists now believe this structure will enable Elbit and the Israeli government to monitor and harvest the WiFi details of millions of people.
The wi-fi service will begin its rollout in Westminster followed by the Tube gets first wi-fi connection
Mobile operator O2 is fronting the install but Elbit is providing all the equipment, technical staff and funding.
Elbit will begin installing the Metro wireless network across Westminster this month, initially being available in limited areas before being rolled out across both boroughs.
